The EFM Feature

Nathan sent me a quick e-mail after reading my post about McCain’s strange statement regarding gay “marriage.”

All one needs to know about where John McCain stands on traditional marriage is that he voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment in the Senate. Not only did he vote against it, he vocally opposed it. He can debate himself on gay marriage all he wants on Hardball. But when it was time to take a vote, he joined with the Democrats to defeat the FMA.
On marriage (and everything else, for that matter), John McCain is no Mitt Romney.

Well said.
