The EFM Feature

From an LDS reader:

Yesterday in LDS meetinghouses across the US, a letter from the First Presidency was read over the pulpit encouraging members to be politically active and involved with candidates who most effectively represent each members’ views. It also asserted that the church is politically neutral and no action of any leader should show favor for one candidate or party over another.
Every ward receives this letter before every election. But, the language seemed a bit stronger this year. I’m not sure if that was because I was more sensitive or if the church is emphasizing it more…
Thanks for all your work. Hopefully Nancy will stop with the Latin roots now that David is back.
