The EFM Feature

…who notes that Governor Romney is the first presidential candidate to whom he has ever donated, a fresh use for an old joke:

A little joke to put this in perspective for fellow evangelicals:
The flood is coming. Bob sits in his house. His neigbor drives by, shouts “Hop in! The flood is coming!” Bob says “I have faith! God will save me!” The neighbor drives on.
The waters rise, and Bob is on his roof. A man in a boat comes by, and shouts”Let’s go, the flood is rising!” Bob says “I have faith! God will save me!” The boat moves on.
The waters rise, and Bob is on his chimney. A Coast Guard helicopter lets a rope down. Bob waves the chopper off, shouting “I have faith! God will save me!” as he sinks below the water.
In Heaven, Bob peevishly asks God: “Why didn’t You save me?”
God says “I sent you a car, a boat and a helicopter…”
I hope those who ask “Who will represent our Christian values?” and don’t see the obvious choice will think hard on this joke.
