The EFM Feature

Check out this e-mail I just got (still catching up after Christmas and New Year’s, as well as untold Comcast difficulties):

Thank you (especially to David and Nancy French) for As a Mormon, I have both hopes and fears that Mitt Romney will do well in the upcoming presidential elections. Hopes, not because he shares my faith, but because he shares my political beliefs and has shown a Reaganesque leadership skill to move them forward in a positive way, something this ailing country desperately needs. Fears, because good, of all faiths, is often viciously attacked. I have cringed these last several years as I watch the good in George W. Bush belittled by a liberal, agenda-driven media. Do I want to go through eight years of seeing my political beliefs trashed–and now blasted along with my faith?
Your site has helped me to decide that it’s obviously a good fight. Giving in to those who would destroy families and weaken this country is certainly not worth having the press fawn over a liberal president. I owe it to my children to support a candidate who stands up for sound economic policy, a strong defense, and Christian values, even if this person is a Mormon and brings a bit more public ridicule to my faith.
May God bless you in your efforts and for your obvious support for the religious freedoms of this great country.
