The EFM Feature

A documentary for which our very own Charles Mitchell and his dear wife were interviewed at some length is about to begin airing on PBS. Their comments addressed the role our faith plays in their life, as well as more minor points like politics, blogging, YouTube, MySpace, and Facebook. (Charles claims to have been born in the wrong century, so he pled ignorance on many of those last items…but how tech-ignorant can the editor of EFM actually be?)
The program is called “Generation Next” and attempts to document the attitudes of those between about 18 and 25. It will be shown tonight at 9:30 in the DC area, though airtimes vary nationwide. If you’d like to watch, you can figure out when it will be shown in your area by clicking here.
It’ll be interesting to see how this piece is edited, to see if Charles’s conservatism is allowed to shine through, or if–through the miracles of modern video editing technology–he’ll sound like a young Ralph Nader. I just hope there are some good shots of Charles wearing the EFM tee shirt, hat, and button he probably wore to represent us on national tv.
Way to go, Charles!
[Side note: is it actually "Generation Next" or is it "Generation Y"--or are these two different age groups? Who gets to decide these things anyway?]
