The EFM Feature

Well EFM readers, here’s a confession. Thursday night is when my wife and I have our church small group meetings. So I didn’t see last night’s ten-man debate. But I did learn an important lesson: Normal people didn’t even know there was a debate last night. When we walked in, I made a joke about how lucky everyone was that I showed up. since clearly a C-SPAN junkie like yours truly would love to be watching “the debate.” Nearly to a person, they responded with, “What debate?” (or looks that said the same). And this is a group in Washington, by the way. Remember that when you hear poll numbers these days.
Anyway, I’ve been catching up on the debate this morning. It looks as if Peggy Noonan, Chris Matthews (the moderator), and a lot of others think Governor Romney won. Here are a couple of YouTubes:

Many folks are also saying Mayor Giuliani did not win, and that’s making sense to me. Here are two of his answers on abortion.

There’s more on Governor Romney’s website.
