Mike Huckabee in the NYT, on how the media neglects to cover the lower-tier candidates:
He joked that when he shared a plane ride from the New Hampshire debate with several of the lower-tier candidates, he thought, “what if something happened to this plane?”
And then Huckabee said he envisioned the headline that would run in the event of a disaster: “Today Rudy Giuliani, John McCain and Mitt Romney campaigned in Iowa and New Hampshire. Oh, and by the way, five of the other candidates perished in an airline crash.”
Side note: how cool would it be to eavesdrop on their conversations on that flight?
