The EFM Feature

“I think that’s victory for the people. People: 1. Washington politicians: 0.”

So said Gov. Romney in reference to the defeat of the immigration bill. Also:

“I think the failure of this bill is related to the failure of Washington politicians to connect with the American people,” he said. “And finally, the people’s voice was loud enough and clear enough that the politicians had to retreat.”

For some reason Rudy Guiliani eating pizza in the Strip District is getting ten times more exposure here than Gov. Romney’s wise words. Sigh. I don’t get why the whole city doesn’t think like me.
