The EFM Feature

Okay, since my long absence, I guess you can tell by my three posts today that I’m back for now. Did you see this Washington Times piece? Here’s a snippet with my quote concerning whether or not Gov. Romney should give “the Speech.”

Nancy French, co-founder of Evangelicals for Mitt in Columbia, Tenn., said no statement is necessary.
“There’s no speech to give,” she said. “What evangelicals care about is that Mitt is a person of faith and he doesn’t apologize for it. That’s the bright line of demarcation. Theology matters to the evangelical voter to the extent that it has political ramifications.
“I disagree with Mormonism, and I wouldn’t want Governor Romney to teach my son’s Sunday school class. But there is no difference between Romney and evangelicals and their positions on moral issues.”
