The EFM Feature

We’ve received, in response to Nancy’s post on James Dobson, an e-mail demanding a “correction” on the grounds that the David Brody piece Nancy referenced “in no way says that Huckabee is not Presidential material.” Here is what Brody actually wrote:

Now, as for Huckabee, that’s a possibility but can he win and is he only thought of as VP material?

Clearly, Brody implied Governor Huckabee is not considered presidential material. If anything, perhaps we should have included a question mark, as he did.
The e-mail we received also claims a “no” should be next to Governor Romney’s name on the list of candidates Nancy produced. This is clearly wrong. Nancy put a “no” next to the names of the candidates Dr. Dobson has already announced, in no uncertain terms, that he will not support: Senator McCain, Mayor Giuliani, and now Senator Thompson. He’s made no such declaration about Governor Romney. In fact, he has praised Governor Romney and specifically refused to rule out supporting him.
