Giuliani does not have it sewn up, though. Former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney has a double-digit lead in the early caucus state of Iowa. Recent polls give him a smaller lead in the key state of New Hampshire.
Romney’s fans are putting their prayers into winning those two.
“The way the (primary) calendar is set up (those wins) will give him the big momentum shift,” said Nancy French, an activist with Evangelicals for Mitt.
