The EFM Feature

What the heck does that mean? He just repeated this strange mantra which he brought up last night. Something about how voters want vertical leadership instead of horizontal.
But, I need to know — how does he feel about diagonal leadership?
CHARLES adds: Nancy, maybe I’m giving Governor Huckabee too much credit, but he may be referring to President Reagan’s famous 1964 “Time for Choosing” speech:

You and I are told increasingly that we have to choose between a left or right, but I would like to suggest that there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down–up to a man’s age-old dream, the ultimate in individual freedom consistent with law and order–or down to the ant heap totalitarianism, and regardless of their sincerity, their humanitarian motives, those who would trade our freedom for security have embarked on this downward course.

Then again, the last part of that sentence pretty well condemns Governor Huckabee’s misguided approach to things…
