The EFM Feature

It’s got to be fun to be on book tour, if you are Mitt Romney. This article tells that when he went to The Villages, he was very warmly received. Also, it reports a portion of what he said regarding health care:

Romney said he agreed with the aspect of the new health-care law that protects people with pre-existing conditions, but he disapproved of the costs to taxpayers.
“The rest of the health-care plan is more like a pile of dirt,” he said. “It’s going to have to be repealed and replaced with something better.”
Wearing jeans and a light-colored, buttondown shirt, Romney called for more control in government spending.
One attendee asked Romney how the GOP can encourage more people to join the Republican party. “We are going to … strengthen our economy and get jobs for people,” Romney said. “We have to stop the expansion of government.”
