The EFM Feature

The Australian has a cool article on Gov. Romney’s victory and his “cheer squad”:

JUST when his campaign for the US presidency in 2012 needed a boost, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney has won a Republican Party popularity contest.
Mr Romney won the straw poll at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference yesterday, beating Texas congressman Ron Paul by one vote. Most remarkable about the victory was that Mr Romney did not attend the New Orleans event for 3500 party faithful.
But the good-looking former businessman was still highly visible thanks to a cheer squad called Evangelicals for Mitt. They handed out copies of Mr Romney’s new book, No Apology: The Case for American Greatness, and pink piggy banks carrying the slogan, “Elect a president who won’t break the bank”.

Those pigs really were awesome. Great job, David and Nancy!
