Dear Charles, I also wrote something about the controversial Byron York question here at National Review, so you can judge whether Mollie Hemingway’s article is still the most important thing you’ve seen on the subject!

One Response to Not Running for Wife-in-Chief

  1. Dane McBride says:

Excellent explication, Nancy, of a concept the secular world can’t grasp well. The whole anti-religion mentality of the left doesn’t care whether it’s Romney’s Mormonism or Bachmann’s evangelical Lutheranism, they want to demonize all of religion, presenting it all as “weirdness”. As you have earlier pointed out, all people of faith should recognize that the same arrows that they may enjoy seeing fired at those whose religious interpretations differ from their own, will certainly boomerang on themselves as well, and it is the the secular left who most delights in seeing inter-faith attacks, and the implications that the theology alone of one’s religion should rightfully disqualify the person from high office. Again, nice work!
