Over at the French Revolution, I wonder why Senator Santorum is making narrow denominational and theological arguments rather than stating his case through shared values and shared ideals.  We want our president to defend religious liberty, but do we want him to also waste his political capital arguing about the evils of contraception?

One Response to Rick Santorum: Running for President, Pastor, or Both?

I am totally flabergasted at how the GOP is shooting themselves in the head. “Russian Roulette” anyone? The GOP party has been “tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine” known possible to man. Anyone who has been following the GOP Primary should be so seasick and throwing up because of the ups and downs that seem to happen every day, every hour – it’s time to rest.

The GOP has no clue what they are even doing to themselves, only until later down the road, then it will be everlastingly to late to rebound. I DO NOT WANT A PASTOR-IN-CHIEF. Santorum can take his political speech and store it where the sun does not shine. (Maybe for a congregation, but not for the 300 million + who are citizens of this country)

It is very immoral and unconstitutional to use the goverment as a vehicle to mandate one’s personal agenda, whether it be social, religious or political. (via birth control, contraception, etc) My fasting last Monday was not for Mitt Romney, but for the “blind” GOP voters who seem to be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine…….
