The EFM Feature
RomneywithFam

My daughter Naomi didn’t begin life with many advantages.  She was born in one of the poorest countries and was one of it’s most destitute members. She was as starved as one can be and still survive, weighing only 12 pounds as a two year old toddler.  When we picked her up from the orphanage, she didn’t even own the clothes on her back.

But two years after her adoption, there she was… eating bacon wrapped scallop hors d’oeuvres and – I firmly believe — jumping into the arms of the next President of the United States.

America, the land of opportunity!

Beautiful family Nancy, and what a special little lady you have. When Gov. Romney wins the election, that picture needs to be framed!

What beautiful children with their obviously lovely mother. What a true Christian example that you are Nancy! Thank you! Its so refreshing to read and see all that you are doing. Thank you for your example. We need more of you and less of whining women wanting (WWW) free contraception.

This picture is worth way, way more than the Proverbial 1,000 words.

In seeing the beauty and the goodness of your family, we know WHY David chose to leave his law practice and enlist in the Army and go to Iraq after 9-11. You and your family are worth protecting. Period, end of story.

It also happens to be the same reason why Mitt and Ann Romney work so hard, to try to turn this train wreck around. Their deepest reason is this: to protect the children and the children that follow them, and restore for them the American opportunity that we in our apathy and blindness took for granted — and are now in grave risk of losing.

Nancy, your beautiful family — and all of our beautiful families, large or small — is a Battle Cry to fight for our freedoms, or lose them. There’s no third alternative. The leftists are playing for keeps this time.

Beautiful family, Nancy! And from one adoptive mom to another, it looks like the Lord placed the right child in your home- she’s a perfect fit! From the glimpses you shared here, you’ve had an amazing journey with that sweet girl. May the Lord continue to bless and prosper your family. And yes, truly, He IS risen. Happy Easter to each of you from little old me here in the great state of Texas :)

I really loved this beautiful picture of you and your family , minus your wonderful David! What a blessing you have been to all of them, Nancy! You bring a great heritage of selfless love and giving to your family. Also, what a blessing you and David have been to the Romney campaign! You are both such great Americans. May your Easter be filled with happiness and joy as you celebrate the Risen Lord. His name be praised! YES, TRULY HE IS RISEN! Love from the Other Nancy

Nothing I love more than sharing this Easter season with friends on EFM who share the same values: deepest gratitude for the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, us Latter-Day Saints REALLY do share so much with each other here on EFM. As Pres. Obama becomes more and more scary, we must stick together doing all in our power to see that such a fine candidate as Mitt Romney wins in November. I also wish so many of you fine folks could have witnessed our LDS leaders teach and testify of our Savior simply to truly understand how deeply we share our love for Christ at our recent LDS conference. The more we understand each other, the greater impact we will have together in making America an even greater place.

Happy Easter to everyone at EFM. I wanted to share a performance of “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing.” I was first made aware of this by Nancy years ago and especially today of all days it is worth a repeat. I know that God lives and Jesus is the Christ.

Excellent! Here’s the same version as sung by MoTab (Mormon Tabernacle Choir for all you non-LDS folk). This one is backed by a very touching video depicting snippets from the life of Christ. If you can remain unemotional while watching it, you’re better than I am, lol.
